The water off Boynton Beach
Blue water starts at the inlet.
Palm Beach County sits closer to the Gulf Stream than almost anywhere on the East Coast. Out of Boynton Inlet you are trolling the edge in minutes, with reefs and wrecks on the way back.
The edge
Where the bottom drops away and the Gulf Stream pushes north: sailfish, mahi, wahoo, blackfin tuna and kingfish, on the troll or on live bait.
The reefs and wrecks
Mutton snapper, yellowtail, black grouper and amberjack on anchor or on the drift. Night trips for snapper when the season is right.
Inshore
Calm water inside the inlet for the three-hour trips: sharks, jacks and snapper, and a boat that isn't rolling.
The dock
Trips leave from the Harvey E. Oyer Jr. Park boat ramp in Boynton Beach. Nate cleans and fillets the catch on the way in, so you take dinner home.

The boat
A 26-foot Angler center console.
An Angler center console rigged for the edge and the reef: a live well for fresh bait, navigation and fish-finding electronics. As well as vhf radio and emergency epirb at the helm, and all USCG-approved safety gear aboard. Rods, reels and tackle are on the boat.
6 guests fish comfortably; , drinks are provided, and the catch is cleaned and filleted before you step off. Nate will also give recommendation on how to prepare.

- Do I need a fishing licence?
- No. Nate holds the permits, so everyone aboard is covered.
- What's included?
- Rods, reels and tackle, drinks, fresh bait (live bait on trips of four hours or more seasonal market price may apply), and your catch cleaned and filleted at the dock.
- Is the price per person?
- No, it is for the boat, up to 6 guests.
- Where do we meet?
- Harvey E. Oyer Jr. Park boat ramp, 2010 N Federal Hwy, Boynton Beach, FL 33435, on the Intracoastal across from the Boynton Inlet. Nate confirms the time with you once the day is set.
- What should I bring?
- Sunscreen, lotions only no sprays pls. a hat and polarized sunglasses, non-marking shoes, and whatever you want to eat. Drinks are on the boat. A cooler in the car for the fillets is a good idea.
- What if we have to cancel?
- Free cancellation up to 7 days before the trip. If the weather calls the day off, you move to another day. Or deposit refund
